Monika is passionate about health and finding balance in life. She believes strongly in the power of community, and responsible and sustainable living. With over three decade of experience as a chef, Monika brings extensive skills and knowledge regarding customer service, event organisation, catering, and hospitality to her role at The Banyans Health and Wellness.
Monika holds a Queensland Small Business Association Diploma, a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, and Swiss Diploma in Hospitality. She has additional qualifications as a Barista and Reiki Instructor. A mother of three, Monika is a creative thinker and enjoys producing innovative solutions to any challenges she faces.
Prior to joining The Banyans, Swiss-born Monika and her chef husband ran their own Swiss restaurant in Brisbane for 24 years among other roles. She prides herself on providing guests at The Banyans with delicious food, unforgettable memories, and friendly and caring service. She believes her children have also helped her to become the empathetic and responsible person she is today.
