Dr David Hunt is a General Practitioner and Procedural Specialist at The Banyans Health and Wellness. Dr Hunt has over 20 years of experience working with substance-dependent patients as a result of his special interest in addiction medicine.
Dr Hunt is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and has been working in Australian general practice since 1995.
Graduating from the University of Queensland in 1986, Dr Hunt has worked extensively in medicine, both in Australia and overseas. He is the Former Chairman of the Board for drug and alcohol charity Teen Challenge.
Dr Hunt currently has a large private practice of opioid treatment patients, and has completed many Naltrexone implants. With decades of experience in medicine, Dr Hunt provides the highest level of care in fully equipped medical practice.
Guests appreciate Dr Hunt’s caring demeanour, especially as he is usually the first practitioner they meet at The Banyans.
Dr David Hunt is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
