Why are we so quick to lend a hand for others, and yet feel selfish when it comes to caring for ourselves?
We want you to put on your own oxygen mask. The Personal Wellbeing Coaching Program will equip you with tangible, action-oriented strategies about how you can implement wellbeing in your life.
A goal is not just about what you accomplish. It’s about who you become.
The Personal Wellbeing Coaching Program is designed to take stock of where you are now, where you want to be and build a plan of how you will get there.
These sessions will inform and empower you to create a healthy, balanced, and holistic lifestyle.
Each professional will go over your goals, the barriers you experience in achieving those goals and put together a plan of how you can get there. You will walk away with a raft of strategies and actionable steps to implement in your life.
Your time is precious. Between work and family commitments, there often isn’t time to focus on you and your wellbeing. This program is designed so you can get the most out of it in a short period of time. Each session will focus on you without the distraction or input of others.
Allow yourself to set aside intentional time to focus on the aspects of your life that often get forgotten.
During your program, our Wellbeing Educator will go through the Facets of Wellbeing Curriculum with you. The Facets of Wellbeing help you explore the six dimensions of wellbeing and what that looks like in the context of your own life. As part of the sessions, you will score your personal wellbeing and satisfaction on each scale, and develop an action plan for improvement.
Alongside your Wellbeing sessions, you will also have a session with a qualified Nutritionist or Dietician.
As part of this session, you will undergo an integrated assessment to understand what your concerns are, what your goals are and how the systems of your body are functioning together.
From there, our practitioners will provide preliminary recommendations for areas to address as the foundation, dietary changes and a plan for your focus moving forward.
Our exercise physiologists will do an assessment to understand your current level of physical fitness, mobility, flexibility and other existing conditions. They will then go through initial recommendations about tailored exercises, workout examples and inspire you to adopt healthy exercise habits and grow healthy lifestyle discipline.
Delivered by qualified professionals in one-on-one sessions, your sessions will be tailored to you and your goals.

The Banyans Health Plus is based in the Bowen Hills Medical Specialist Centre at 16 Thompson Street, Bowen Hills. With consultation rooms for your one-on-one appointments, a beautiful lounge complete with a kitchenette and workspaces, industry-equipped gym, yoga studio and private ensuites with luxurious amenities, The Banyans Health Plus provides everything you are looking for in a Day Program.
The Personal Wellbeing Coaching Program will run on a Monday and Tuesday, excluding public holidays. Your program will consist of a one-hour session each week with your team. Appointments for these sessions are generally available between 9am and 3pm but subject to availability.
You can choose to do the program face-to-face at our Bowen Hills, Brisbane facility or online via Telehealth. All of the sessions and inclusions can be delivered virtually so you won’t miss out on anything.

If you are driving by car there is plenty of free parking available onsite. Alternatively, you can catch public transport to The Banyans Health Plus. The Bowen Hills Train Station is located within a five-minute walking distance and there are numerous bus services along Abbotsford Road in addition to the Inner Northern Busway, which runs from the nearby Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital at Herston. The closest Brisbane River Ferry terminal is located two kilometres away at Teneriffe.

These sessions can be used for up to six months from the date of purchase.
It is completely up to you what you would like to wear. Most patients opt for business casual attire. For your session with our exercise physiologists, we recommend wearing activewear and comfortable shoes for working out in.
