Leesa is a qualified social worker, with over 5 years in the social work field. She specialises in youth work, with a particular therapeutic interest in mental health.
Leesa has five children and has plans to complete her Masters in counselling when they are in school. Before joining the team at The Banyans, Leesa has previously worked in primary schools assisting children with special needs, bringing with her a diverse set of valuable therapeutic skills. Leesa ran a coffee cart for school chaplaincy donations, trained people to become mentors in the Kids Hope Australia program, and decorated cakes for the Cheesecake Shop.
