Anxiety can manifest itself in different ways – from feelings of nervousness, stress or tension and trouble concentrating, to physical symptoms including increased heart rate, rapid breathing and sweating.

With support you can develop coping techniques, better identify your symptoms and triggers, and you can learn how to manage your anxiety and thrive in all aspects of your life.

Anxiety symptoms can worsen for a myriad of reasons, and many people are particularly experiencing a worsening of their symptoms after the stressors of the past couple of years. If you feel like your anxiety has increased to levels where you need support to help manage and cope, our new Anxiety Management Outpatient Program can support you.

Delivered one day per week over six weeks at The Banyans Health Plus luxurious inner-Brisbane facility, the Anxiety Management Integrated Day Program offers convenience and flexibility.

How does the program work?

Our programs deal with the triggers and symptoms of anxiety at the source. The reason we involve multiple practitioners and specialists is because there is rarely just one reason for anxiety – this approach to recovery is called a multidisciplinary approach. It’s not just about understanding your experiences and how they shaped you, it’s not just about creating healthy routines and structures, it’s not just about the link between our emotional and physical responses to anxiety – it’s all of that and more. Using this approach is why we can see change in such a short period of time.

Our team will work with you to assess and create a comprehensive understanding of your background, experiences and journey up until this point to understand the best course of action from here. From there, each of your practitioners will provide you with strategies and changes you can make to support your recovery across all of our four pillars – medical, psychological and emotional, nutritional and physical.
