The Banyans Healthcare Group has opened three new businesses in Brisbane this year, including The Banyans Health Plus day programs in response to surging demand for mental health and substance dependency treatment services.
Located at 16 Thompson Street in the inner-north suburb of Bowen Hills, The Banyans Health Plus has the added advantage of being situated with The Banyans Medical Centre and Specialist Clinics.
The new businesses expand The Banyans Healthcare Group’s vision to provide premium medical care at all stages of the mental health and substance dependency recovery journey, and also add general medical treatment to its services.
“The Banyans Healthcare Group wants to provide treatment for our patients for all their health needs from their first point of contact with their GP through to comprehensive, integrated treatment for mental health and substance dependency conditions at Health Plus or at our Residence,” The Banyans Healthcare Group Chief Executive Officer Ruth Limkin says.
“Once our patients have finished their Health Plus or residential programs, they will now be able to access follow up treatment, if needed, at The Banyans Medical Centre and Specialist Clinics with doctors who already know them well and that they trust,” Ms Limkin says.
