Dr. Sonali Goonetilleke brings over 25 years of psychiatric experience to her role, including 12 years as a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. She is deeply skilled in supporting young people through a wide range of mental health conditions, from early intervention through to complex presentations. Her work spans community-based care and tertiary hospital settings, where she has contributed meaningfully to both individual recovery and system improvement. Calm, thorough, and compassionate, Dr. Sonali is known for her dedication to both clinical excellence and family-centred care. At home, she finds joy in cooking, nature walks, and the company of her family—and her beloved dogs.
