Some people need to step away completely. Others need treatment that fits around work and family. Both options use the same one-on-one model and the same multidisciplinary team.
Our residential program is based at a private residence in the Brisbane hinterland, with 15 suites. Our day program runs from The Banyans Health Plus in Bowen Hills, one day a week over eight weeks.
Being close to home can make a practical difference. Family can be involved where it’s clinically appropriate, and your aftercare is delivered by the people who already know your history.
Every program at The Banyans is one-on-one and individually constructed. Your intake team will recommend a pathway after a clinical assessment.
A structured residential program for mental health and co-occurring concerns. It’s psychology-led, with a multidisciplinary team and 3–4 one-on-one sessions each weekday.
Everything in Foundations, plus psychiatric care, metabolic, genetic and functional health testing, executive coaching and equine-assisted therapy outside the therapy room.
One-on-one care one day a week over eight weeks, face to face at our clinic just outside the Brisbane CBD or online via telehealth. Your psychiatrist, psychologist, clinical nutritionist and exercise physiologist work as one team, and you go home each evening.
Programs are not claimable through private health insurance or Medicare. Some people fund their program through self-funding, early release of superannuation on compassionate grounds (subject to ATO eligibility and medical certification), or third-party finance. Our intake team can support you in navigating the options.
Complex concerns rarely respond to a one-size-fits-all approach. From your first enquiry, our team works with you to build a treatment plan and refine it as you progress.

Support for clinical depression and the patterns that often sit alongside it, such as exhaustion, disrupted sleep and withdrawal. Your program is built around your history and goals.
A multidisciplinary approach to anxiety, combining psychological therapy with medical, psychiatric, nutritional and physical support.
For stress that has become constant and physical. Programs aim to ease its load on body and mind, and build practical tools for what comes next.
For professionals whose work has become depleting. One-on-one care, residential or day program, designed around the demands of your role.
Support for bipolar I, bipolar II and related mood disorders, with psychiatric oversight throughout your program.
Trauma-informed, one-on-one therapy, which may include EMDR, delivered at a pace that feels manageable for you.
For loss that has become hard to carry, whether a death, the end of a relationship or another significant change.
A multidisciplinary program for obsessive-compulsive disorder, with psychology-led treatment and psychiatric input where needed.
Every program begins with a thorough understanding of you: your history, your needs and what you want to change.
Residential guests have 3–6 one-on-one sessions each weekday, depending on their program, across psychological therapy, physical health, medical support and wellbeing. Day program guests get the same one-on-one model.
Up to two years of structured aftercare is available after a residential stay. Living in South East Queensland means you can continue into our eight-week day program in Bowen Hills with the same clinicians, or join online if that’s easier.
